Hello, could you tell me more about the magazines in japan ? I was curious as to what features are in the magazines and how they differ from American fashion magazines .

ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, they offer a wider variety of styles, fashions, and genres. There are not many magazines in America for young woman between the ages of 18-30. We have Seventeen magazine, but some may consider it too young and high school. Cosmopolitan magazine maybe too old and some can't relate. There is Nylon magazine for more trendier styles. There aren't many I can name.
Also, we have no magazines with unique styles such as Kera, Shoxx, Ageha, Gothic & Lolita, Popteen, Cure. Very few American magazines have street snapshots, more affordable brands, full step by step detailed make up and hair tutorials, etc.
You will have to see the difference for yourself. It's very hard to explain, but the difference, in my opinion, is major.
